The railway bogie bolster is the core load-bearing and connecting component of a railway bogie, usually installed in the middle of the bogie frame between the two side frames. It is mainly made of low-alloy cast steel or welded high-strength steel plates with reinforced wear-resistant surfaces, and has the characteristics of high strength, excellent rigidity and good fatigue resistance. It can withstand vertical loads, longitudinal traction and braking forces, as well as lateral impacts and cyclic vibrations during train operation on uneven tracks, and its performance directly affects the running stability of the bogie, the shock absorption effect of the car body and the overall driving safety of the train.
